yawn, looks superficial, with mediocre acting (paltrow was rather annoying in iron man 2), must be a long time since someone made a country music related movie, can't leave the fans without their dosage

for very good country related movies see:
Crazy Heart (2009) biography/drama/touring, male performer
O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) comedy, much more hillbilly oriented, but very enjoyable nevertheless
    Coal Miner's Daughter (1980) biography/drama/touring, female performer

for good gwyneth paltrow movies see:
    Shallow Hal (2001)
    The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999)
A Perfect Murder (1998) very good
    Se7en (1995) excellent

btw, seems to me that country music is quite similar to pop music, in the sense that it prevalently serves for simple (minded) entertainment with low amounts of social or political criticism, though it may be more relevant concerning the depiction of actual life experiences/hardships
