Yea still trying to figuer it out. I mite have to install the x64 SSL files for it to work on my win7 x64 system. Could be the other problem. Its very limited in its options thought if you look at them. Its an interesting concept.

If I well understand, Anomos uses its own specific "anomos tracker", wich is doing many things that normal trackers don't perform:

Then an anonymous connection needs to be formed, the Tracker computes a path between the two peers involved. The path consists of a list of the peers through whom the packets should pass. The tracker then uses the numbered connections between those peers to create a description of the path (called a Tracking Code) which can be given to anyone without compromising the anonymity of the uploader or downloader.

So you can use Anomos neither on classic private trackers, nor on classic public ones. Only on an Anomos tracker.

This has also security/anonymity implications:: Because this sole tracker computes pathes between each sharing peers, the tracker has a perfect knowledge of the entire topology of the network. And probably it has some knowledge about all the data shared.

Moreover, I think there are potential issues in moding opensource anonymizing software: Some changes included in the moded version, even only locally used by a small number of peers, can damage the anonymity or the integrity of the network at a global level (this kind of problem recently hapened to Stealthnet)
