Well, in about 2 to 4 years he wont be able to sing like that anymore unless he cuts off his balls.
He doesn't play with more"passion", he just cut the dynamic range nearly down to zero and hammers down on that poor piano like there were no tomorrow.

maybe it doesn't matter, since he already achieved a level most of his peers (in terms of age) can only dream of

thats debatable, its his own kind of interpretation, a cover version that doesn't really need to adhere to any standards (of passion expression)

as for lady lol gaga, her mere appearance & performance are beyond lame, just showing how the pop industry is artificially inflating her 'value' or 'star status', trying to squeeze whatever they can (financially & psychologically) from low quality material that she currently represents

The accordian is very versatile as it can take the place of many instuments, however I still prefer the violin as it produces cleaner notes as this piece was originally intended. That said, it was highly enjoyable to listen and watch
