Moving the 'finished-list' from Client A to B

    Hi,

I would like to know if its possible to move the finished list (lower list, standard view) from a client (like Azureus Shu Mod) to another (like Azureus/Vuze Extreme Mod).

In my point of view its good to have such a list for getting an overview about all finished torrents.

I thought they might be a directory or a file which could be copied/modiefied, is there a proper way to handle this ?

Its not part of my question, but furthermore I would be also glad, if anybody could point out the file where the current torrents (incomplete) are stored.

Shu Mod and the Extreme Mod are the same client (Azureus), just different versions.

You can trying backing the torrents folder and downloads.config file up and putting them on the config folder of the second one.

OK, I tried it with the Vuze Extreme Mod, but it seems to be not working.
So i think its not working with this way.
Vuze always overwrite my replaced file.

Maybe you can give me a link to the latest Azureus Extreme Mod, I could give it then a try..

    Delete downloads.config.bak.

There's a link called "full list" in the announcement box... click on that.

I tried it, but its not working so far.
I think I've to go for an good-usable Azureus Extreme Mod, is there one available at SB-I ?

    Edit: Ok, found the Mod.

    Are you joking?

Just for the record, Vuze = Azureus.

I knew that Vuze is based on Azureus, butI thought there were differences in their programm-structure.

Is it possible that I need to download the full Vuze (Original) Client and then overwrite the above mentioned files.
Maybe I just make the mistake to overwrite the Vuze Extreme Mod Files to my Azureus Folder ?
Look like its quite obvious, just not for me...

Did you try deleting the BAK file and then pasting the ones from your Shu Mod install over the Extreme Mod one?

If you do that and see no torrents upon running the client, it's probably one of the new config parameters blanking it. There's nothing that can be done about that.

Yes I tried to overwrite several config files, I deleted as guided from you the bak-files.

I will try to let my rehash my files. Think I've to live with the flushing of my finished list ?

It appears so, specially if you're upgrading from the 2.5.0.4-based Shu Mod.

Would you advise me to redownload the original vuze client and overwrite the files from the extreme mod or can I leave it as it is ?

If these are the ones you, in turn, took from the Shu Mod, you probably won't achieve anything by doing that.

With the extreme mod files I meant the files from the Vuze Extreme SBI-MOD.
Just for getting a cleaner system, or can I leave it as it is ?

If you want to get a cleaner system you're better off at not doing so
