    Yes. OpenSuse is actually a pretty decent OS. I like it too. What I really liked about this particular OS is it's quickness of setup. Fast. Much faster than Win7 and about as equally as quick as Kubuntu.

    Well I didn't have a pretty good experience with it.Applications crashed,mozilla took a lot to load and I couldn't even install the graphics card driver.Maybe I'll try it again in the future.

    suse is old and mature and the installer supports several filesystems.

    Everyone with their preferences.
    Maybe it was so bugged because I used a milestone release.I think it was the last one before 11.2.

    that's not about preferences. these are serious issüs. but the milestone release would be an explanation.

    for the record, it's not exactly 'fair' to use a test release without telling before or after complaining about the issüs :tongü:

    Anyone know what possible issue is causing the problem??

    i think you need the restricted codecs,
    try searching for mp3 or restricted in the package manager

    tried a different player? mplayer, vlc, xmms ...?
