Didn't Mihai try 1GB/s on a The* tracker, to get away with it?
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
I see a few people mentioned what.cd but I've had no problems taking it slow and steady with SBi for almost a year now
havent used bitmetv but what sure is the hardest for me.. tried once.. got banned
I agree on thebox being one of the quite hard trackers to play around, due to the fact that they keep a very clean close eyes on newely registered users till their grace period (ranging from 40 to 45 days upon sgning up) is ran out. Also,What.cd used to be quite hard in the past but after they started to beat Waffles up in terms of torrents collection & who would gather the bigger database, they started to care less about security issues.
lol, thebox, have you seen their banned torrent clients list, when I saw that I said they're crazy paranoid, and they are! utorrent 1.7.7 recommended
That's interesting, I've heard people saying the new 2.0 version is slower than previous ones. I've haven't tried it myself but if true that would mean utorrent development is getting worse and worse. I'm probably going to be switching to an open sourced one eventually.. there's something about utorrent I don't like
googling I found an old post from them:
That's interesting indeed, what would an older version do that the new one doesn't ? The headers sent to the tracker I imagine?"Note: Clients based on the libtorrent library need to be using the latest version. Older versions of the library interfere with our cheat detection."
