Wyzo 3, The BitTorrent Web Browser

Radical Software have just launched the latest version of their media web browser, Wyzo. The newest version has been a long time in the making and is one of the few web browsers supporting BitTorrent downloads straight out of the box.

Limewire says that too. But multi-sourcing isn't anything you can't see on every P2P client out there.

Depending on how it's coded this app could be fast, but unless it's libtorrent-based or something, forget about using it on private trackers.

Noticed the FF look in the screenshots as well... I think this is more oriented to new users

Wyzo is based off of an older version of Firefox. The "About" page gives more details.

Yes, I wouldn't use this on private trackers. You probably won't be instabanned, but better safe than sorry.

i don't really see the need to use such programs when utorrent & azureus work just fine

must be the hype to convert every app into a web-based one

    it is bad firefox
And also a bit old. If you need torrenting in your Firefox so bad, use the FireTorrent addon. Or enable uTorrent's WebUI and control it from FF.

    I installed and tried this.
I guess Opera is faster than this.

a browser should be what it's meant to be: a browser
no matter what extras they're all crappy. more or less.

i think as a member of at least some torrent sites nobody in here should have any problems getting 'real' apps for the tasks. some of them are even free.

I don't think it will better than Opera. And opera can do much more like block some ads also opera has online user configuration.
