i was using the filezilla when i was using the ftp in a major way
now as a occasional requirement of ftping i am using fireftp from firefox
found it was easier than firing up filezilla

ya. I thought that FF has a built in ftp, but I guess having a few extra things taht FileZilla would have would help.

ive been using firezilla most of the times but am using total commander for ftp now :) its easy tu use and i find it easier :)
WinSCP has a new option at last beta, you can protect your site logins on your computer. Consider it.

dont need it on my pcDownload this old beta evaluation version of CUTE FTP3.6 Beta. This software is excellent for the Web Masters for uploading files using the ftp to their server space. The Good thing about this E/c of Cute FTP beta version is that it is an Advertisement Banner supported program and efficiently runs after the evaluation period, but only starts showing banners. You can download the software from the above two web sites. The Software download is only 1.3 MB. Problems: CuteFTP is advertisement supported and may connect to the Cute Site to bring the advertisement information and may be some firewalls / AV's may detect this as security threat and warn you.

Because it is ad-ware. You can block the ads with firewall.
Then, you can use it as freeware.
