Yeah,they have a private section for Seargants+ members where they can share info,invites for What.cd,so yeah this is true.
There are no more what.cd unlimited invites on the SCL forum,only waffles!!!
they've just updated the ranks

As part of the birthday surprises we mentioned previously, we have upgraded our ranking system. We have added some new ranks as well as re-vamped the auto-promotion system. As a result of this members were moved to more appropriate positions, please bare with us as we work out any bugs in the system.
The new ranks are as follows:
Sniper - New Uploaders Class
Ranger - New Donators Class
Veteran - VIP/Ex-Staffers
Master Sergeant
Specialist
Private First Class
Now, How the Auto-system will work:
The new system will demote users who's ratio falls below the level for your currant rank. And will promote you again once you get your ratio back to that level.
The promotion system now looks at your download amount also. This means that you will have to have a minimum download amount to be promoted by the system, please check the promotion levels below to see how this affects you. This new system is to help ensure everyone is doing their part in keeping ScL alive!

I haven't seen any such forum offering what.cd invites, but I confirm that on what.cd there's a forum which allow power users to seeks invites to TheGFT,
can anybody confirm that what.cd and GFT are interrelated ? for example if you get banned on GFT will you also get banned on what.cd and vice versa ?
Nope there is no forum where PUs can get GFT invites! I'm PU and I haven't seen anything like that. I think they had that before but not anymore.
Well, Melvin is sysop on GFT and also a THS owner, and the latter does share info

And I think the thread on What Forums is for Elite and not Power user but I'm not sure on that.

You should always be careful because whenever you get banned in one of them, chances are you'll get banned in the other!
