    It's a sort of database defragmenter for FF:

    Firefox uses SQLITE databases to store lots of its settings. By the time the databases grow and Firefox starts working slowly. SpeedyFox compacts those databases without loosing any data.

    As far as I can see, FireTune is like Firefox, it changes browser settings to make browsing more smooth. SpeedyFox defrags the databases to make the browser load and operate faster, it's two different things. You can try this with a separate profile if unsure.

    I agree with you, and it seems to me that FireTune and SpeedyFox are complementary.

    But there is a FF addon, FasterFox Lite, witch seems doing the same job as FireTune.

    Renk that addon needs contribution..that has to be gud....

    Anon thats true..speedyfox makes browser to start fast..& fasters tabs too...i like that thing..bookmarked it
