    Online Armor Free firewall

Online Armor's firewall is designed to be easy to use, right out of the box. Programs that our team knows are safe (Trusted programs) are allowed to access the internet with no complex questions or setup. This makes using our firewall easy - even if you're not an expert in computer security!

If a program tries to use the internet and it's not on our list, you're asked a simple question: Do you want this program to be allowed to access the internet, or not?

The logic is simple - most people don't understand the questions that complex security programs ask them. Our belief is that there is no point in asking someone a question they have no real way of giving the answer. So the firewall is designed and built to not ask questions when running in Standard mode.

Minimum requirements: Online Armor currently runs on Windows NT/2000/XP. This program is not suitable for Windows Vista. However, check the *compatibility* section to see if there are any conflicts with other software

Guys, check out this blog to get free one year license of this firewall premium edition.
BEST Rated Firewall Online Armor Premium v3 Genuine License Key for FREE Raymond.CC Blog

It scored the first place in the Matousec Proactive Security Challenge test.

But then according to Raymond, the author of the blog - "Maybe, I’d say that “maybe” Online Armor scored so well in Matousec test is because it is made to block all leak tests created by Matousec. I said that because I tried cutting off using netCut on my test computer running Online Armor Premium but the firewall didn’t detect anything at all. Obviously the Internet and LAN was inaccessible until I turn off netCut. I tried searching in Options and couldn’t find anything that could block or protect a computer from ARP poisoning. I am sure Tall Emu, the company that made Online Armor knows about netCut as I found a discussion dated year 2007 in WildersSecurity but don’t know why they did not make their program to protect against such attacks."

Hi, nope haven't tested it yet unfortunately. Downloaded too many s/w to test out nowadays and this is still in number 54 on the queue list.

And I'm still using the obsolete Sygate personal firewall.

Wow, so you have a queue, too!

Symantec acquired Sygate, right? Those were the times... if you feel like upgrading, I recommend Outpost.

You may be right. I never used Sygate's Personal Firewall, but last time I checked, Symantec products' resource usage only kept on increasing
