    How can I password protect my external USB HDD ?

    Hey, I just want to know tha how can I password Protect my external USB HDD ? I f anyone know any software about this, kindly give me a name. So my HDD will not open at any pc without Password. Thanks in advance.

    Just password protect access to your HDD isn't very secure as it can be easily bypassed.

    Encrypting is what I think you're looking for and TC suggested by Kelly does the job.

    TrueCrypt has my vote, too. It's one of the best hard drive encryption programs.

    But if all you need is keeping total lamers away, rather than fully encrypting your HDD, a simple program like "Folder Lock" should be enough.
