I am getting little scary nowadays.
I am seriously considering on learning some techniques on how to play safe.
I know I am not safe cause at many forums etc many people have those signatures that can easily my location OS etc.
They even detect my original IP inside my LAN. It should be really difficult because no one (other than proxy server) in our LAN is connected directly to internet.
It would be really good if we could discuss about how to maintain privacy and stuff

wEll, I don't know. I guess one thing we could do is 'body-paint' ourselves and hope that nobody knows who we are underneath all that paint, yes??

Didn't some of the staff from Air NewZealand do something like that??........body paint the stewardess's and pilots??

    No. seriously now.
I don't think that there's much you can do. Most of the bad-guys catch the good-guys when the good-guys are using proggy's like limewire and such.

I have read in papers that most of the people who get caught are using those kind of proggy's.

Yes. I do know that it also can happen when you use other bittorrent clients as well....maybe not as often, though....do you think??

All I can think of in using is something like uStealth.

I've used that a couple of times. No-one knows I"m there leach'in 'n looting the site.

And if no-one knows I'm being stealthy, who's gonna know that I"m even downloading content??

Maybe that'll help to some degree.
That's all I can think of atm.
    "God, from the mount Sinai
    whose grey top shall tremble,
    He descending, will Himself,
in thunder, lightning, and loud trumpet’s sound,
    ordain them laws".

The fact your using a LAN through router or similar doesn't imply your internet ip will be concealed. And regarding those signatures that say your ip, your operating system and browser, don't worry at all, those values are only seen by you, and are not fetched to the signature owner.
And like Hellboy said, paying a VPN is a sort of secure manner to use internet anonymously, better yet if you subscribe to one that's overseas.

In a statement the man’s lawyer said: “There is stuff like this on all kids’ computers right now,” while pointing out that many of the files had been downloaded by the defendant’s children.
wow thats a mighty defense point there

that Indian Govt really don't know what the P2P is
don't be so sure - if the anti-p2p's come knockin' they will learn about p2p in no time
