T-Mobile Jukebox Kein DRM mehr bei Handy-Musik-Downloads

Die Musik-Titel aus dem Jukebox-Angebot von T-Mobile sind ohne Kopierschutz erhältlich. Von nun an kann die gekaufte Musik auf verschiedenen Geräten abgespielt werden.

Alle Titel, die vor dem 4. Juni erworben wurden, bleiben jedoch weiterhin kopiergeschützt. Die Telekom-Tochter hat in einer Mitteilung über die Beweggründe zu diesem Schritt informiert. Angeblich ist eine Übereinkunft mit nahezu allen großen Plattenfirmen und einigen Independent-Labeln der ausschlaggebende Grund.

good news considering removing DRM, but there are still a few problems:

- high price - 0,99€ und 1,69 € per song
- downloading separately for mobile phone & PC (pay just 1 time though)
- downloading only song by song, not able to do it for the whole album at once
- if you bought the song earlier (with DRM) you have to buy it again for the non-DRM version ROFL
