@skan Bib officially recruits from PTP and BTN. If you are not on these trackers, keep your eyes open on the invite sections of the trackers you already are, maybe a user gives an invite for Bib away (unoffical invites) or you need to trade.

I invited someone who was a very high user class on a tracker to another tracker with few hundred possibly real uploads, dude ended up getting disabled, same happened with almost all my invitees never using the account and plainly getting banned. Never give an invitation, if anyone's on exigo or any site for that matter, don't think inviting someone rich will make the invite useful, chances are all that they're going to do is just login the day they were invited and never use it again. You might get end up getting banned for inviting someone as well.

TLDR: don't invite anyone, not even your blood related family members.

    • No one wants to invite strangers because they could break the rules - resulting in reprisals for the inviter - or simply never use the account no matter how much they promised otherwise.
    • No one wants to be invited by strangers because a tree ban could make them lose their access at any time, irrespective of involvement with whatever caused said ban.
    • The definitions of "stranger" and "breaking the rules" are made up a posteriori by tracker staff to fit and justify any disciplinary actions.
    • Trackers have the files people want, so no one cares about policies or drama unless/until it affects them personally. (Who gave up their PTP account after the child porn incident, or What.cd after one of their staff members vanished with 70,000 USD of site donations? Everyone thinks IPT's sysop is scum, but the site is too much of a good source to drop.)
    • Due to the above, tracker staff are happy to treat banned or even suspicious users as disposable, because it's easier and they can afford it at this point.

That's how the private tracker world is these days, and it's a little infuriating to see since I remember when it wasn't, but what can you do besides accepting this and trying to minimize your odds of getting squashed. At least there are a few exceptions like FL, OPS and BLU.

Sorry to jump on a moving train just for opinions no one asked for, but you make a point there that was quite personal for me in the past.

Something we can do is to jump off this system if said files are available outside these trackers.

    • Debrid as a leechbox with open trackers.
    • Small cheap seedboxes that you can use with open trackers.
    • Usenet
    • i2p
    • DDL sites or groups.

Its not 100% free, but is almost free if you can pay less than 4U$ and never have to deal with disrespectful rules and undesired environments. It is a small price for a big convenience.

We always end up not finding one or 2 things, but the same happens to trackers: there are always one or 2 things I wanted not in the tracker I went. I really prefer to just forget about them instead of submitting my data and peace of mind to a system that is breaking in a snowball effect for a decade with no reformism in sight.

But everyone has his own priorities and reasons to use their own choices.

That's what forums are for As for the rest, there isn't one source that has everything, so finding the right combination is something we all end up doing over time (I think Usenet can cover 99% of new mainstream uploads with high speeds and no drama, though).

Don't forget eMule - it's not the heavyweight of yore, but it's still there.

i think only torrents and usenet are good for content.
for movies, tv only rarbg was good, for apps only tpb. 1337x for hevc, but hevc is another headache.
so, i think for tv, movies, private trackers are good for torrenters.

i mostly use usenet. but i think 99% south asians do not know usenet, in asia torrents are popular.

i used emule for few days in past, fake content and virus was headache, slow speed was another issue.
few months ago, i checked, emule ,client even did not showing any content. i did not what was real reason.

    • A good server.met file
    • A good ipfilter.dat file
    • Static IP and port forwarding (have address X and port Y today, have address X and port Y a year from now)
    • Being able to run 24/7 for months on end
    • Knowledge of how the protocol works and doesn't work (particularly chunks, queuing and the credit system)

If you can't have all of those, forget it. eMule is not for casual users. A long time ago, when it was more popular, seedboxes used to offer it - that immediately fulfilled points 3 and 4, in addition to the obvious speed advantages.

For what it's worth, CG was asked about just in the previous page, and KG has its own thread...

I don't think the user invites works anymore. I heard they closed indefinitely when there was news that their library is being used for AI training. They're trying to stay out of the spotlight.

BIB has been tough to join for years now, and has a hard economy as well as anti-scraping measures in place, so you may want to take this rumor with a grain of salt.
