Finally it happens....My first ban...

Had been cheating on one of their freeleech torrents... I'm a bit surprised they found out...honestly the speeds were very random...I used RM but had been using it for a quite a while now...Never had problems before...Who knows what happened..

You obviously did something wrong, as the RM got me over a terabyte of upload there with zero issues.

Ok so I spend a few minutes scratching my head for possible reasons

1.IPt got smarter
- Unlikely but not impossible.I've been cheating on a number of mid level sites for quite a while now...including IPt...How did this suddenly happen?

2.My comments came back to haunt me
- Possible but unlikely.I commented on only few torrents and that too only thanks and A10 V10 M0 kind of comments.its possible that one of the staff randomly picked me up for inspection and busted me for unusual uploads

3.RM is flawed/I used the wrong settings
-Impossible.I was cheating on 5 other sites simultaneously and had 5 instances of RM spamming my toolbar...I double and triple checked the memory reader and other settings before starting all of them...The speed I used was absolutely mediocre...The other accounts are working so this issue is moot.

4.I picked the fucking wrong torrent
-I strongly suspect this was it..I picked up one of the their freeleech torrent with multiple leeches...Loaded it onto RM...Put completed as 100% and started seeding... I know I was not instantly banned coz I checked...Someone musta randomly done some checking...

If 4 is the answer then I'm gonna have to rethink my strategy of choosing which torrent to cheat on and it doesn't look good...

No, it's not a problem at all. Just remember to use it correctly, i.e., never use a "min" value larger than "max" value.

I suspect it was point 4. Do you remember the torrent's name and age? We can check the age with our accounts if you remember the former.

As alpacino said, not when used correctly... that option is there to prevent you from getting caught, actually.

Actually I think I know where I went wrong...The torrent i was cheating on was a 82 GB behemoth...
I put in completed as 100%...

As anon has said before as long as that torrent can found found at other trackers u can safe to start it as 100%, Ive done it before at IPT too with large torrents . Mihai has confirmed this too

Actually, her first client file did have a small flaw, if I remember correctly. That was promptly fixed, though, but if you downloaded it before 25.09.10 19:02 GMT you could have been affected.

You know I've thought of so many excuses I'd say if say a stff of a tracker asks me how I got the torrent without downloading it...

1.Got it from a friend
2.Got it from another site
3.Got it from the local LAN transfer
4.Got it from the local DC++ hubs

There's really nothing they can do to prove me otherwise...Also this is one of the biggest reasons I used software packs to cheat on...

If you download a movie pack,they may ask "okay if you have all the files open X movie, go to 1 hour mark and tell me what dialogue they are saying" or If you download a comic pack "Open Y comic ,go to page no.113 and send me the screenshot"


In ipT I was cheating with speeds unusually higher than my real bandwidth...Even if I'd gone to irc to see why I was banned they'd nail me in a few seconds...So I let it go...

I have a quick question...

Biren promised me an invite to ipT and I want to re-register on that site...

But I have static IP and my global IP has not changed since I took this connection...

I know I can register on ipT using u*beep*urf software,browse the site and even download .torrent files...

But once I load the torrent files on my utorrent will I be able to download the files????

ipT has banned my IP.So once my torrent client starts sending GET PEERS request to the server using the tracker,it will instantly be disbarred from doing so coz I my IP is not allowed any connection to the server.So even though I have the torrent and a fresh personalized tracker with passkey of my new account,I wont be able to download anything...

This is what common sense tells me....

But i don't want an educated guess...I want an concrete answer....

So anyone with surefire knowledge of trackers,can you help me???Will i be able to re-register on ipT and continue using it even though i have static ip?

I mean its possible that some time in the coming months ipT flushes out the banned ip from its databases,coz if it keeps on banning IPs there may come a time when it may cause more harm than good (for themselves I mean)...

Forget it I doubt you actually used my first bugged client. However, feel free to upload the client to rapidshare. Send me the delete link and link to the upload through PM.

Oh, where to start here. Look at that, Gapo. You may have indirectly got his account on a piracy site disabled. You're the devil.

Resurrection, I think I found the aforementioned pack. It's 82.228GB long and was a bit more than two weeks ago. Perhaps there wasn't much going on there, and that's how they got you. I have always picked fresh torrents for cheating, so that I don't have to worry about that.

IPT doesn't care about IPs, I recall someone posted he registered a dupe and used both accounts at the same time from the same address without issues. I'm pretty sure they don't even log such things. Still, it'd be nice if you were able to change yours. And clear cache, cookies and the like, of course.
