Just got banned from IpTorrents a few days ago. I upgraded my mac to elcapitan and greedytorrents stopped working so I starting using vuze extreme mod instead. I now have greedytorrent working again which I have been using for years with no problems. However not sure if I should use invite from same person I got one from last time in case they are closely monitoring it. So might try and track down an invite somewhere else to try again.
Anyone else had success with greedytorrent?

Last time i checked greedytorrent announces comparing to real bit-torrent announces and found faults by greedytorrent (some old bit-torrents still work correct with it but need check first) so i don't recommend use greedytorrent anymore until the coder update it .

There are several tracker URLs for IPT. Whenever you download a torrent, you can see around 3 tracker URLs. Try to change the URL.
I don't see 3 trackers on RatioMaster Plus. Just one. How would I get these other links?

I've been "legit" using trackers for pretty much all the time, but lately I've been informed by a friend that you can have modded clients to fake your ratios etc and since I received 2 HNR ratings right off the bat (even though they said you have like a month of leniency after your first one) I just said - fuck it, let's do this.
I'm new to this entire thing and would like to ask you guys for your suggestions where cheating on IPT is concerned.
I'm torn between uSerenity and RatioMaster Plus 1.4.1 - which one would you guys recommend? Do I need to keep a separate client for regular downloads, or I can use the modded one as my regular one and just turn the cheating settings whenever I want to get some ratio done or the likes of it?
If I use RMP 1.4.1 - do I need anything else, or the download from the first page is literally all I need?
I can do a legit upload of about 600 kb/s assuming I find a torrent with people leeching this hard from me, so I don't know, would you say a 1.5 - 2 mb/s upload speed (2000 kb/s) is safe?
I already know not to fakeseed on giant packs like a 283 GB NCIS 1-9 season pack, so I guess I'd just download some new porn movies with lots of leechers and just seed these (<2gb filesize etc) then use some of the upload to zap them.
How do I go about it? I do a legit download of a torrent, then stop uTorrent or whatever original client I use, put the torrent file in Ratiomaster/userenity and just have at it?
I don't know what I can and can't do there. This thread is mostly ancient, so I figured I'd ask you guys since something might've changed since 2008/2010 and whatever were the years while this topic was still current.

Hvitzerk there are a few beginners guides around. Simplest advice is to use safe upload numbers, only seed on torrents that people are actually leeching from(not large packs with partial downloads).
Ipt arent hard, leave ten torrents seeding non stop and you can just zap away any hit and runs.
I've been cheating on IPTorrents for about a year using Ratio Ghost. It's a proxy cheating tool that I just let run in the background all the time. I have it reporting my upload times about 6. So if I have an actual ratio of 0.5, it looks like a ratio of 3.0 on the site. Works for me, no problems so far.
Nice, I'd never heard of that one, but I looked it up and it seems decent. Open source, too (well, it's written on TCL which is an interpreted language).

I used to use Greedy Torrent, but I found that Ratio Ghost has a few more features and works better. Greedy Torrent hasn't been updated since 2007, whereas Ratio Ghost is actively developed and the creator (Yasmine) will answer questions by forum or email.
One feature that I like in Ratio Ghost, that I haven't seen in other programs, is that you can double-click on a log statement to see exactly what was sent to the tracker on the announce. It'll show what the torrent client wanted to send, and what Ratio Ghost actually sent. You can compare the two to see that it's not leaving any clues that might get you caught.
When I looked at Greedy Torrents traffic (which was a lot more work), I found that it made some subtle changes to the tracker announce request, which could get you caught if sites actually cared to look into it.
Also, Ratio Ghost can do random download ratio amounts and fake freeleech, which Greedy Torrent can't.
Anyway, sorry to get off topic. IPT is easy to cheat though. Not sure what else to say about that.
You didn't know GreedyTorrent? It's been around forever! It was the first ratio cheating program I found and used, out of desperation because a game DVD put me right on the ratio watch boundary at TL.
