This is okay.

This is not. If you don't want to add download, set the completion percentage to 100 on a torrent you can find elsewhere.

This depends on each torrent. You wouldn't want to upload 30GB on a 5MB crack, would you?

Stop Uploading when number of peers is less than 2

This is okay if there are plenty of leechers to begin with.

Add Stopped

This is okay.

Thanks again. I've changed it to 0kbps download on a 100% completed torrent. The torrent is around 2GB so I hope my upload target is realistic. Azureus isn't reporting any speed stats (upload or download) and it says completed 0.0%. The column entitled 'Ratio Tool' however is reporting fake ratio so I'm assuming it's working?

A 15:1 ratio from a home connection is overkill, unless this particular release is very popular.

I have been using the same azureus and mod version for more than 4 years and never had any problems. Last week i've been warned under the reason "Disable DHT/PEX on your client, stats are not updating correctly". I wanted to change the settings following the suggested guide but my azureus version was so old that didn't have those options so i was "forced" to upgrade and installed the last vuze version also with the new shu-mode.

I was used to this only settings:



When i downloaded i got the ratio ok, but it really made the difference when it was 100% donwloaded, just seeding. That way, i would "upload" almost 4 o 5 gbs per day...so it used to work for me.

Now, i'm using utorrent without any mod at TL and i'm just trying to understand and test the new vuze with the mod, but no on TL but thepiratebay so i don't get bann for doing something wrong.

I followed http://www.sb-innovation.de/f59/tuto...plained-13781/ and finally configurated this way:

Fake Upload "speed mode++" with the following options selected:
--Start fake upload when the following % done is reached: 10%.
--Intelligent Mode
--Stop faking when the following ratio is reached: 1:0 and 1.5...Speed 0-50 KB/s
-----Speed Between 15 and 20 KB/s.

The fake upload worked when it was only downloading. When it's 100% downloaded it doesn't fake upload any more...so the ratio isn't near 1....

I don't know if i've made myself clear enough.
I hope someone can help me solve my problem.

You're right, I was asking whether you're using anything else but it was not very clear, sorry. I'd like to have a screenshot of your fake settings, that way I can easily spot what may be wrong.

I don't know if it makes any difference, but i usually leave the torrents seeding for quite a long time after they are 100% downloaded....i guess that's how i keep good ratio, no buy "uploading" fast....

Now "it's uploading", but a little slow....how do i manage the upload speed then? That's not what i want to know. I mean, i now how to change the fake upload speed, but per torrent...how do i limit the "total" upload speed?
I'm asking this because today i may have 5 torrents......for example "uploading" at 20kb/s....that would be 100kb/s total......but if i add 5 more torrents.....the speed would be 200kb/s......how do i keep the "total upload speed" limited to what i want....? Is it possible or do i have to change each torrent?

edited one more time: Should i leave for each torrent to "fake upload speed" around...10...20kb/s and have the stop when x ratio is reached activated??
