    Change Log:

    Build 306
    + Updated core to 3.1.1.1_B05
+ Implmented some really really small things from the new Shu mod that won't really have any effect
    + Implements logging

    Known Issues:
Client spoofing with plugin to peers is NOT implemented.

    Installation:
    1. Download and install Azureus 3.1.1.0 (Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download).
    2. Delete the "plugins" folder in %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus).
    3. Extract the RAR using WinRAR (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files) or equivalent to %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus) and overwrite ALL files.
    4. Go now to the install dir. It is important to delete or make a backup of the old Azureus2.jar (Azureus2.jar.bak) after that rename Azureus2_3.1.1.1.306_B05.jar file to Azureus2.jar
    5.Run Azureus and Enjoy!

    Troubleshooting:
Before posting problems please make sure:
    1. You have updated Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 6 (Java SE Downloads).
    2. You have removed the Azureus folder in %PROGRAMFILES% (C:\Program Files\Azureus).
    3. You have removed the Azureus folder in %APPDATA% (The folder may be hidden).
    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Azureus for XP
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Azureus for Vista
    4. Reinstalled Azureus using the package from Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download
    5. Re-applied the hack from the downloaded RAR.

Warning: Performing steps 2 and 3 will wipe your torrent list and Azureus settings.

    Enjoy!

have you deleted your config folder?

that's a strange error, have never seen it before. maybe it has something to do with your network/port configuration (if you're behind a router)

As a last resort you can place the AzureusSpoof.properties into the JAR.

If you put it in the correct folder it will work fine. This does not need fixing.

Try to deactivate the UPnP service in the azureus plugin config, because this feature don't work on every system and than you get problems like you wrote above...

if you're only going to download from private trackers it's best to disable it to avoid wasting bandwidth as all the .torrents you'll download will have the private flag set to 1 and therefore won't make use of DHT.

to turn it off, check this

You can deactivate it under "Classic Sharing / Private torrent only accept peers from the tracker".
It doesn't matter if you've activate it, because private sites block DHT traffic, so this service works only on public sites and there it's useful.

never mind that, by the looks of it it's a peercache-like plugin the Tut's author had installed and other people may too, so in these cases he told the readers what to do with it

    edit:
Joltid PeerCache (JPC) is a device employed by ISPs to reduce the huge external network bandwidth required to support today's P2P networks. It basically acts as a caching web proxy (like Squid), only for P2P file data. Clients within the ISP's internal network use the cache to help coordinate downloads from external peers, allowing them to efficiently share downloaded data amongst each other, using the ISP's high-speed internal network, rather than relying on the significantly slower outside network. This saves ISPs from wasting a lot of expensive external bandwidth on duplicate P2P data, and allows their customer clients to download at blazing fast speeds using the much cheaper internal network bandwidth.

it was peercache itself... doesn't seem to be included with AZ anymore/discontinued
