First time I opened it, it dint give any error but now everytime i start it, it gives the following error

go to directory %appdata% and delete the .BitTornado folder. you'll lose all your settings but the problem will (hopefully) be solved. what firewall do you use, by the way?

This mod works every where.
The announce looks perfect so the sct staff can't detect it via script.
If you be careful and think about what you do there should be no problem.

on low level trackers i would recommend it ,on higher tracker i would be cautious ..

Stealth Mods are always a little bit danger because other clients can see you in the peerlist of their client. It's no problem if you stay in a torrent with many other peers but if there are only 10 people it is not the best choice because a staff member can check all ips in their p2p program and on the tracker and then they will see which one is to much.
You could make it more safer if you make it like in that tutorial Link
because then you've a unknown ip on that tracker and they can only find you if they check the ip ranges of all clients which have downloaded the torrent file and that's to much work and the can't handle it via a simple script.

dennoch eine frage : ist in absehbarer zeit ein spoof für µ geplant. irgendwie kommt es mir so vor, wenn ich mir die peerlisten ansehe, dass bittornado meistens von servern genutzt wird. ist ja auch nachvollziehbar. fällt man da nicht auf, wenn man mit einer homeleitung mit bittornado seedet ?

und ohne dem coder zu nahe treten zu wollen : der spoof von ABC ist ja fürn arsch. wer nutzt diesen client ? auffälliger kann man sich ja nicht präsentieren. zumindest meiner meinung nach. nicht böse gemeint, war mir nur durch den sinn gegangen. ein wirklich sinnvoller spoof wäre stattdessen µ. klappt beim ratiomaster ja auch. oder unterliege ich da einem denkfehler ?

rufus0815: an uTorrent spoof can't be done at the moment, as uT is closed-source and therefore there are few possibilities of reversing its peer_id and key algorithm. but it may be possible in the future

ja in den ersten versionen war es auch nicht drin nur ein user hatte es angefragt also wurde es eingebaut aber man muss es ja nicht auswählen

dennoch klappt es beim ratiomaster, dass in der peerliste µ gespooft wird. insofern sollte das schon gehen, oder ? liegt das problem möglicherweise darin, dass der spoof zwischen den clients nicht funktioniert ? meines wissens nach, war das immer ein problem. und bei den verfügbaren spoofs scheint es ja "client intern" zu funktionieren.

naja der ratiomaster funktioniert nur zum tracker und nicht auch zu den peers das ist was ganz anderes aber sowas können wir ganz locker einbauen. also der spoof zum tracker würde auch für den utorrent funktionieren ich hab selbst so eine version vom faze wo noch mehr clients wie utorrent usw. drin sind aber wir wollen eigentlich nur spoofs einbauen die auch zum client funktionieren.

und bittornado benutzen auch gewöhnliche user nicht nur user mit root also das ist eigetnlich ganz normal
