Tropical Thunder 1/10 - Worst piece of shit ever, I caught myself sleeping in some parts, this movie isn't even funny. Can't recommend it to anyone. It even has an "Alpa Chino" guy, wtf.

Crips and Bloods - Made in America

It was okay, but focused too much on the violence. Those neighborhoods, you'd think people were shooting at each other all the time, but I worked in homes in those neighborhoods for a few years, and never had any problems or saw anything bad at all. Yeah, there were gangs hanging out, but they were just hanging out like most teens do. So while it was an interesting film, I feel that films like that overplay the violence, and maybe underplay the sense of community that's in poor Los Angeles neighborhoods.
