Also I don't think it's a good idea to stay on an OS that doesn't receive any security updates, especially if piracy is involved. I know the risks of exploitation isn't that high, but I'd still feel uneasy.

A lot of exploits can be avoided using common sense and defense-in-depth measures - I dodged WannaCry with my long-standing policy of completely disabling SMB altogether - but... yeah.
Game plan here is to slowly use and get used to Windows 11 as a non-main OS to avoid becoming a fish out of water when 7 is finally too old. Same thing I did when moving from XP to 7. This 2015 laptop officially supports up to 10 inclusive, so driver support will hopefully not be much of a problem.

Windows 8 drivers works in 10 and 11.
Same, Vista drivers worked in 7.
I never installed Vista, but i had heard, i tested Win 8 drivers works 10, 11 i tested in my laptop dv6 which is of 2011 i think.
Any one can use these drivers pack, according to your windows, search in google with these drivers packs names.

Unfortunately and due to feature deprecations and changes to the driver model on each new Windows release, this isn't 100% guaranteed to be the case.
Microsoft pursued the "drivers backward-compatible forever" approach with WDM and Windows 98, but had to make too many exceptions...
