What was your first video game system?

My first console was a home pong clone
It came with a pair of grey paddle controllers and a light gun for the skeet shooting game.

The NES wasn't officially sold in this country, which left the door open for a multitude of hardware clones, some of which would even dare to imitate the name and appearance of more advanced consoles. This was the one we had (those notches above the A and B buttons are autofire switches).

    Also, here's an interesting video.

If the Game & Watch counts as a video game system then that would be my first, I remember playing with one when I hadn't even started kindergarten yet.

The older Xbox with the green logo circle on top, and silver text.

Pepsiman is the very definition of a cult hit, and Tarzan had an amazing soundtrack (Phil Collins), in addition to FMVs from Disney's movie. My only complaint is that I was unable to reach 100% completion on either...

Atari. I don't remember the number, but it was the one with pitfall and that game with ships that when you left one corner of the screen, your ship would appear in the opposite corner.
Just like it happens to me when I am waking up.

Crazy Taxi on the original PlayStation? I thought it was basically a Dreamcast exclusive at the time.

Just look at this shop window! That physical copy of ToHeart was enthralling, and the rest didn't disappoint
