In my opinion, snahp is the best.
They have a lot of contributors who contribute mini encodes and x265 files, and one guy even made a whole site rip of PSA.
Really, props to these hoarders for allowing access to everything without even asking.
Unfortunately, getting invites is extremely difficult.
I got my account through a friend who was fortunate enough to join when it was open for signup.
I don't think you'll have much luck because only trusted uploaders can legitimately receive invites.
And while finding people who will agree to donate on your behalf (or paying them to donate) and then using that invite is one option, next to agreeing for uploading from someone elses account to get invite as most don't want to share cookies or password easily.
The rest of the (good) forums are just as difficult as snahp.
However, there is a new warezforum and blackpearl there as well.
Because they are the new kids on the block, getting an invite is simple and possible.
They have some level of content, but you have to contribute to access it, so I don't know much about them.
    Both, however, are Google Drive-centric.
Good luck, it's probably easier to find snahp users on these two forums than anywhere else so you have a idea to start, however a note: if you don't heavily use DDL sites or have debrids Don't bother wasting time and use general trackers in the end as these are somewhat comparable with General trackers.

i was uploader on snahp, but sold account, as i start taking interest in x264 p2p encodes and i my external hdd was full, so i was trying to get access to small x265 encodes to replace with x265 encodes, again unluckily small x265 encodes like qxr, joy and others not impressing me, when i compare same content x264 p2p encodes attract me, and even scene encodes too and when i watch x265 content for few minutes, pain on my eyes and head start, x264 encodes seems natural and impressing..

anyway thanks, now i do not need snahp and similar sites...

I was invited out of the blue by someone here, and am so glad that happened. Snahp is a great source and pretty hard to join nowadays. Was on BlackPearl, but you needed to obtain points by participating in order to unlock download links, which doesn't work out for a leecher casual user. And there is nothing that compares to the old Warez-BB, but that's a different matter...

This sounds like the placebo (technically nocebo) effect hard at work. A good encode with either codec is transparent, meaning it will have no humanly perceivable compression artifacts or differences against the original source. The advantage of x265 is that it requires less data to achieve the same quality level, resulting in a smaller file size. Personally, however, I have a good reason to prefer x264 and it's hardware acceleration. My computer doesn't support it for HEVC and therefore can't decode it in real time.

If you use K Lite Mega Codecs (built-in Media Player Classic), it will decode x265, (software decoding) you can watch x265 content, but problem is it will consume too much processing power, i have i7 2nd gen notebook, it does not support hevc/x265 not hardware acceleration, x265 takes too much processing power, my notbook fan start noising, i have MI Android Box, but i do not know when i watch x265 content, my eyes do not feel good, it feels some type of pain like situation, as content does not seem natural, while on x264 i enjoy content..

Well, I've got a Celeron with no active cooling, so you can imagine my situation... when something's only available as x265, I have to transcode it with Handbrake first. Fortunately such occasions are rare.

Due to what I mentioned above, the only explanation I can think of is that your Android box somehow gets the framerate or visuals wrong for this particular codec As anyone who has used mplayer will tell you, not all decoders and output drivers are made equal...

On Mi Android Box, i have set "50 HZ 1080p", some time i set "50 HZ 1080i",
i do not feel difference between 1080p or 1080i,

i need to use 24 hz or similar low hz?

i think, i doubt on HZ, my tv is Sony FULL HD 1080p, i do not know what difference is HZ or FPS,

I set 50 HZ or 60 HZ on MI Box..
    content i mostly have 1080p 23fps, only 2, 3 files are 24 fps.

my sony tv does not support x265/HEVC content via USB, in its port,
so, when i watch x264 content i feel good, but on MI Box, especially when i try to watch x265 content, i feel headache and my eyes feel bad.. reason seems i am using higher HZ.

another reason may be, tv may only support x264, and 8 bit content,

but i am trying x265, 10bit content via MI Android TV Box

Ugh. There was an excellent video on YouTube which explained the whys of different framerates, how they ultimately span back to design decisions from the early days of broadcast television, and how things come into play when you have a video feed at 'x' FPS being output at 'y' on a display with a 'z' refresh rate... but I can't find it right now. Will still leave you with this, it's semi-related and interesting enough.

Interlaced video must die, it has no reason to be in these days of high-bandwidth signals and progressive displays. Plus, real-time deinterlacing is never 100% accurate and leaves noticeable artifacts. Don't download anything that's interlaced unless it's the only copy you can find.

If you experience serious discomfort, you may want to research what "frame interpolation" is and does. It's meant to make movement look more fluid, but also helps here. You may not even notice the flickering from low framerates, but your eyes do.

10-bit color requires a video stream that is encoded thus and a decoder that supports it and a display which can show the wider color variety. Otherwise, it makes no difference.

    x266 man

    VVC

    Hi guys.

    Great discussion, really interesting.
Is some DDL-forums or torrent-trackers or Usenet posters or scene uploaders already supports x266 or as it named Versatile Video Coding (VVC)?

Best regards, small size of rips fan.

I will still recommend x264, especially on 8 bit x264 led tv,

    newest codecs are av1, h266, MPEG-5,

some encoders have started av1 encodes in 1337x tracker,

when i 1st read about x265 (hevc) years ago, i read, it compressed video data 50% more than x265 for streaming,

so it should be a streaming codecs, but some companies produced it in 4k with hevc,

i have 1080p x264 8 bit tv, also mi box 3, but when i try to watch hevc content, they look sharp, but artificial, yellowish hairs, yellow or pale faces, and more darkness, my eyes feel pain and head feeling head ache, i think newest codecs are for streaming, but not natural feelings, i have not checked MPEG-5 codecs, but when you check av1 codecs in media info on 1337x trackers, video format will be .webm which is also streaming format. HEVC/x265 did not overtake due to its fees and no compatibility of devices.

    I hope:
AV1 codec will be everywhere for streaming,
    H264 codec will be everywhere,
May be MP5 will become popular, but incompatibility of most devices will be hurdle,
x266 fate will be like x265 due to fees and incompatibility of devices.

If you check AV1 video, it takes more processing power than x264, but less than x265,
Hevc are most shitty codecs as per my experience.
Hevc get very little bit popularity due to piracy, and its low size in torrent trackers, especially those who have laptops,
but problem there is it can dry battery due to more processing power, i think even 720 yiffy encodes will be enough for laptop, original yiffy gone for forever but content still available on ptb.

No scene group will do such a thing until their release standards are updated to include the new codec and define when and how it is to be used... and you saw how much time it took them to switch from XviD from x264. As for the rest, no idea.

    Thanks for answers.
I've prefer x265 for porn. For example really like 265 encodes on EMP.

    It depends on you,
I downloaded x265 p0rn for laptop and x265 movies for 1080p tv, i even purchased mi box, but i regret,
x265 dry laptop battery, 1080p x264 p0rn from scene encodes on laptop and even on tv looks amazing, i think even 720p x264 p0rn is ok on laptop,

while for x265 movies on tv, i tested different encoders but every time i regret, for 40-43 inch tv any movie with 4000+ bitrate looks good and 49-53 inch tv scenes encodes are enough.

Hevc are shitty codecs, they were introduced for streaming, but they even not replace vp9, now youtube, facebook, netflix all are replacing with av1, they take less resources than x265,but more than x264, x266 future is same like x265, little chance, MP5 codecs.

If you've ever used YouTube's API, you'll know FLV and MP3 are the only codecs they've truly replaced. The list of possible values for the "fmt" parameter will surprise you!
