    Newsgroup Reader (Linux, Docker, etc.)

    Hi,

    im googeling a while an looking for a good newsgroup reader who could download binaries and could be installed on a server.
    if he has a webinterface would be nice.

    has anyone any idea?

    nzbget or sabnzb both is good nzbget has superiority as its built on c++ as such it gets slower upgrades, not that there is any need for too many updates. which is where sabnzb comes with its perks of being written in python being tad bit slower on read write and having lots of updates, the read write isn't a issue as long as your not bottle necking your hardware and internet speed.

    do you want to download for yourself and want service like seedbox or torrent cloud service and want to download it in your pc by download manager?

    or want to upload it in web server for others?

    Python's networking code is another bottleneck, topping out between 300 and 400 MB/s (admittedly not a problem for most people). Also, NZBGet has a very nice TUI which lets you control it interactively from a terminal window.

    Other than that, they're basically Coke and Pepsi, so you can just pick the one you like the most.
