    vista sp1 BSOD while using torrent clients

    hi,
    since last one week i have been getting recurrent
    blue screen of death while using torrent clients like azureus
    and utorrent. after about 30min to 1hr of starting torrent clients the bsod occurs. its easily reproducible.

    i have both vista x64 and vista 32 ultimate on my computer. both have the same problem. i have installed all windows updates till date.
    do anybody have similar problem?
    any clues to a cure?

    it sounds like you have faulty ram, so as soon as the bt clients need more memory for disk cache and stuff (specially azureus), windows BSODs...

    you should see if it happens with another windows OS like xp....

    seems its not the ram thats problematic
    ran memtest , no errors

    now running windows xp sp3 without any glitch
