konami are just milking the metal gear cash cow. they obviously don't have the rights to use the character 'snake', but they do own the assets/engine used for mgs5...
they've already stated this will be a digital only title, not a full price game and will also be 2-4 player coop. single player might be implemented depending on audience feedback...
Apparently, this is going to be the first game in the series with no input whatsoever from Hideo Kojima.
I watched the trailer, and nothing in it evokes the gameplay these games have or should have, it looks more like Halo or Call of Duty. There's a slight hint of the titular Metal Gear tank at the end, and that's it.

It's obviously cash grab! They only put that title so naive people will buy thinking it has something to do with Metal Gear
