qBittorrent - SBI Leecher Pack

Hi there,

I know that there is many uTorrent Expansion SBI Leecher Pack and such, but right now uTorrent is a old man, slowing dying, and with a lot of problems.

For exemple, I have a 200/20 connection, but if I use any version of uTorrent I get the "Disk Overflow" problem and can only download at 10mb tops.

With qBittorrent I always get the my connection max, 25.5mb

The problem is that is only ghosting, no complete, etc, for uTorrent, and since qBittorrent is opensource, I would be nice if some one could make a SBI Leecher Pack for qBittorrent.

What do you think? With access to the code source, this should be easy for you pro's

In uTorrent, go to Preferences, Advanced, Cache and set Override automatic cache size and specify the size manually (MB): to 1800
Test and come back.

And it would be nice to have a new torrent client in the list.

Yes, well unfortunately the utorrent SBI pack is dead, it has been dead for 2 years now. Good morning people.

Even if this works, qBittorrent right now is superior in many expects.

Not going to argue with you, do what you want. That config works, if it doesn't for you then there is something bad with your HDD and/or motherboard.

I don't know why are you being so negative.

Its just an idea, and I think a good one.

A no complete or ghosting mod for qBittorrent would be very nice.

And btw, I have a SDD, but what ever...

No one will deny the idea is good. The problem is finding someone with the skills and time to do it.

In the meantime, keep tweaking uTorrent's disk cache, as its settings are definitely to blame if you have disk overload on an SSD.

No dough that a project like this would required time and dedication, unfortunate for me, although I can code, torrent, torrent announcements and torrent related things are a desert zone for me.

It's like you can simply find tutorials on the internet

hehe (I think)

So maybe some day, some one with the skills and time, will make something interesting using qBittorrent
