Arch Linux 2015.08.01 Has Been Released.

I use an Arch based system and I have to say that it is indeed an incredibly stable system. Second to none per my own experiences.

For those who don’t know, a new Arch Linux system is released in the first day of every month, permitting the users that don’t have the system installed to download and install an up-to-date Arch Linux version.

Those who use Arch Linux, Manjaro or another derivative system can receive the upgrade by performing a regular system upgrade.
To be honest, I really don't know why such new ISO are released as -Syu will automatically provide the newest releases upon upgrade/update. Regardless, the devs of this system are doing what they like to do and part of advertising is promotion to utilize their system.

f you still have doubts about Arch Linux, you should have in mind that it is the most lightweight and customizable rolling-release system, it has a great community and is among the first systems that provide the newest software versions.

    Have a great day, folks.

I have tried Antergos and I went for it because I consider myself a linux noob so the non-gui installer is really frustrating for me.
But all in all it's great experience. I found it more stable than Ubuntu and Mint.

what did you find frustrating about it, Lucius?? You mean navigating yourself through the install using the non-GUI??

Yes, it needs a Linux expert (YouTube got this perfectly though)

    sorry Lucius.
    Haven't been here in awhile.
I guess all I can say to that is that it just takes a bit of getting used to. Most obviously, you made it through. Congratulations on that! You now have some experience in setting up using non-gui.
