A hairstick would definitely make you look awkward and weird. It's not per se a sexuality thing, but more of a "that weirdo over there" thing.

Honestly, it's the least of your worries if people think you're gay. I hold hands with my wifey in public and don't let that bother me at all. At least I get to hold her hand :)

While I agree you shouldn't let it bother you what others think, it might become a hassle if random people avoid you for it. It's not too difficult to accept style choices from someone that is already a friend, but first appearances, however sucky the concept is, still matter.

If you are worried about what people think, just get one that's the same colour as your hair to hide it a little. To be honest, most people you walk by won't even notice. The bottom line is if you're cool with it, do it.


You could also try rocking a manbun. This hair style is definitely in style right now so there won't be any sexuality questions asked.

as long as you know your sexuality what's the point thinking about what could others think ....Probably if i had heard that they question my sexuality about me on my back ...next time when i see them i will make fun on them by throwing a wink ))
