as the previous yearly cycle ends, so the next one begins - in the meantime, our own cycles (of life) are still unfolding as we speak - some questions to ponder: what about our own cycles, do they begin anew once this one ends, just like the yearly ones do? if so, how long does it go? if not, why would it stop?

note1: 'whatever' here means absolutely everything, from seemingly advantageous to seemingly disadvantageous events, the latter being harder to accomplish
note2: why seemingly? because there's more than meets the eye in every event, especially (to) the subjective eye of the individual beholder
