I am totally with you on this one T4 though nowhere near T2 was still better than the horrid T3 it nearly killed the series for me I didn't even watch it completely left halfway through

About Salvation, no Arnold and a change of scenario (to the future war against the machines) were probably the dealbreakers for me. But I can see why they didn't go for "Skynet sends robotic hitman to kill John Connor... again, for the fourth time in a row".

An old ass arnold would not have made the movie any better though.
Look at the expandables. While once great, the bunch of grandpa's they are now hardly make a good flick of that kind.
Anyone watched this? I did, and if compared to first two terminator movies it sucks balls! But if you see it just as summer flick, it's kinda ok. But it's not rewachable!
You're being too harsh. It definitely had it faults, but I really loved some parts. You should never compare it to nostalgia. Even if it was better, it would still feel worse just because of the nostalgia.
Fair enough, I had a lot of complaints walking out of the theater and loved 2 a whole lot better. But I am def going to watch this again. As far as I'm concerned, out of the 5 movies it's at least top 3. You would probably feel completely different if you hadn't seen the old ones years ago and fell in love with them.
but yeah, i loved quite a few parts in the movie. my biggest issue was that it was a bit too much action and a bit too non-stop. The old ones had "breathers" which this was really missing.
Arnold was amazing, though.

She's been pretty busy with coursework and I don't want to get on the way of her kollege edekasion, so we've only talked a few times since the last update I posted. We'll be seeing each other again during the winter break, though, which is a week or so away.
Also, I'm looking forward to watching this movie too, so please tag your spoilers (not that any were posted so far).

She ain't that bad as Sarah Connor!
Honestly, it was the first thing I remarked to my friends. I honestly don't think she is fit as Connor. The old conner was a battle ready die hard fit bitch and she just doesn't portray that.
I liked her in GoT, but Terminator wasn't her thing imho. Finding an actress more similar to the old Sarah would've made the movie better in my opinion.
