Tor soon the default private mode in FF ?

Thanks to Snowden and Assange, privacy and anonymity have become hype these days. So many tech companies want to include Tor in their products. It's suggested than Tor could become the FF "private browsing mode'". It could be a real improvement concerning user's privacy. But some problems are to be solved: Tor scalabity (if the number of Tor users explode), as the article says. But also I think, political problems, as the governments would certainly not easily approve this king of move ; and "educational" problems, as I think the "average joe" is not ready to securely uses Tor.

    Nevertheless, I think it's a good news.

My main concern with this would be overtaxing the Tor network. The default effect is very strong with these things. People are going to watch videos and upload stuff, causing a lot of traffic. It might happen even if Tor was given as an opt-in choice, although since its IPs are blocked by many sites and Google and Facebook alert you if your address is suddenly on the other side of the world, the impact may still be limited in that case.

that's unlikely because tor is way too slow. masses of users would complain.
keep in mind, the average user doesn't care
