Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson's Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.

not really literally about hunger/food, is it? more like metaphorical hunger for freedom, which arrives after 'finishing the game(s)' - thats a subconscious reason for the movie popularity, it reflects or reminds of or hints at own life's journey (that needs to be finished)

in District 13

unlucky number? didn't think so, more like: a special number that does not arrive often, reserved for or representing special occasions
for example, there were 12 apostles and one rather special 13th person, no?

but only for herself, others still have to finish their own games
also, the game gets completed or finished, whereas the (previous) illusions become shattered or dispelled

the hero(ine), representing the viewer, any viewer, any player, any traveler

Katniss spreads her wings

grows up, spreads her (newfound) wings and flies away

as she fights to save Peeta

as she advances, so do others near/around her, thats what was meant by 'saving', a collateral/secondary effect regardless of what she does

and a nation moved by her courage.

they all dream of the same thing, they just aren't there yet
what was meant by 'to set the world on fire'

For some reason i liked this series... actually i like such movies.

maybe it reminds you of a certain reality show, called: your own life

Divergent is a pretty decent movie if you realize that both the book as the movie's target audience are teenage girls. Even the writer, Veronica Roth, is (slightly....) younger than I am... God! I'm getting old :/
I liked it, even though it obviously wasn't the best movie ever.

Missed theater so watched at home.. Even though i like 1st two parts,i find this on boring.. I was like wtf ? It wasn't even worth downloading

As far as I know hollywood inventions, but tailored (or inspired) after past comics releases.

I have to ask? Why did they make this movie? One of the most boring movies I've watched in recent years! I keept expecting something to happen but all I saw was Katniss sad face for two hours! OMG!!! So disappointed. If first two are watchable this one is not, and you wouldn't miss a thing if you'd just skip it!
