After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don't have to just crack the case - they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.

Arrrhhh seriously? 1st part was okay okay n 1 time watchable but what's up with this 2nd part? even the trailer is fcukin boring.. if slik saw this he'll suicide

schmidt goes deep undercover with the chief's daughter and jenko does the same with his (male) soulmate - later on they visit the local psychologist where they hold hands and realize what it means to go deeper (with each other, that is)

other than that, it was very weak & mostly unfunny, just like part 1

any (seriously) deeper meaning in the movie, underneath the comedy?
these two characters represent dualities that somehow must learn to live with each other even if they are different on the outside (the appearance):

schmidt: fat/ugly/small/smart/... represents thesis (or vice versa), one part of the yin-yang symbol
jenko: slim/handsome/tall/stupid/... represents antithesis (or vice versa), the other part of the yin-yang symbol

yet still they complement each other, are both cops/brothers/undercover/soulmates/male/partners/buddies/... (have the same basic function, the essence), form a synthesis when interacting, represented by the (whole) yin-yang symbol - applies to any dualistic couple (hero/villain, good/bad, good/evil, high/low, far/close, male/female, easy/difficult, easy/not-easy, black/white, pick/do not pick, proton/anti-proton, efficient/non-efficient,...)
