Update 4.
90% of the data area is pretty awesome Not to mention, that also technically includes unused space, which was approximately half of the disk. So, if that 10% had either nothing or redownloadable stuff... anyway, I have SHA-1 checksums for almost everything, so I can be sure it was really recovered.[17/12/2020] [Directly answering two questions I'd asked on the 16th] Good afternoon. We can perform the final copying of the recovered data on the 500 GB disks you mentioned. The original structure and timestamps of everything will be preserved. Regards.
[18/12/2020] We have finished the disk cloning procedure, managing to access 90% of the data area. It is currently in the process of being scanned sector by sector to analyze and rebuild the structure of files and directories.
Technician's notes: The mirroring process, in which all accessible areas are copied sector by sector, has finished. I am currently rebuilding the partition, file and directory structure, and performing a full scan of the data area in search of files. Once this process is finished, the data will be loaded on a backup drive, and finally critical data will be verified if we have been informed what is considered as such [Note: I did not do this, instead telling them to recover everything they could]. I will keep you informed of any advancements.
