    2. i went for 1GB because my ISP has this weird rule: to get Z service, you need Y service, and to get it you need X.
    3. gigabit internet puts a lot of pressure on your hardware, specifically your HDD and SSD. If you value your storage devices, you will NOT get gigabit.
Fair points, if it weren't for the fact that 100 Mbps is also unattainable to most people here. Anything higher than 50 is marketed as "premium" and charged accordingly. On top of that, the prices of all plans have really gone up in the last five years, even accounting for inflation.

I'm afraid I do not have 2 or more years to spend in a company and hoping they will transfer me. The major players in Romania turned me down back in the day, and I felt and feel like crap whenever I think about it.
No one said it would be easy...

Is the American dream still alive? Like, go with no money and make a killer amount in a couple of years?
It takes money to make money, and the "American dream" is an exaggeration very few have managed to pull off. Now, finding a decent job and having a better quality of life than in your homeland, that is definitely possible.

How hard would be to get accepted just by sending a resume on foreign companies?

I'd expect it to be hard, since you'd need to make quite an impression for a company to be willing to hire and fly someone on the other side of the world. And it's got to be for a position where you can't just do your job remotely (Crossover is all the rage these days).

On the other side, how they hire you and which benefits and salary you'll get compared to a domestic worker are also a factor. I mean, if you end up being a cheaper alternative for them...

You know, just chaingun resumés saying you founded Google Romania and work it from there.

Oh man, there's nothing like sinking some 20 hours into a visual novel and then finding out I have a censored/family-friendly copy.

Yes, similar to watching a non full-porn movie.

Good ol' SBfreak. So sad he doesn't post anymore.

I think all women should be like Peggy Bundy. What do you think, anon?

    Well...
What if I told you I know such a family (well, not really a family - but a couple) ?

On an unrelated note, I absolutetly love Times New Roman / Liberation Serif. I think it's one of the most stylish typefaces ever made. When I gaved my thesis, one of the rules of writing it was to use Times New Roman - it was not a question of style but to be able to fit more text in a page. How do you make one page appear as 3 pages? Use monospace typeface, of course. And this was the reson every other typeface was prohibited.
    I love serfs altogether.

if all of them were meant to be like her, they would have been so

in other words, the world is exactly as it should be and it has always been that way
it is continuously being shaped as a result of the (free will) choices of trillions of living beings that are experiencing life in this world

real life is experiencing activities of the real self (aka true self), free from any kind of illusion or pretense

    to use the example above:
    - Peggy Bundy is an imaginary character (1) from a tv show
    - the actress playing Peggy Bundy also has an imaginary personality (2) in her own everyday life
    - the spirit soul experiencing the life of the actress has a real personality (3), but it has no awareness of it, thus lives under the illusion that (2) is the real personality

I'd say life imitates art, but it's more of a cyclical feedback thing

Increase the font size and interline spacing by 0.1px, and use double spacing after each period. You'll see that shit really adds up when you have a ton of text.

I was a pro at making my essays seem longer than they were (and also written by me), but I guess that's what you call meta-learning.

Of course. Those programs are meant to be an escape from real life. This is not bad, but the two should not be mixed.
