i'll split some hairs here: actually, to know the extent of your own lack-of-wisdom, you need to know the extents of all wisdom first, otherwise its just guessworkOriginally Posted by anon
what reminds me of that philosopher who said: 'i know that i know nothing', to which one could reply: to know nothing means not being able to experience anything, whereas every conscious being in existence experiences something, thus also knows at least something - ie. the philosopher was wrong
another seemingly opposite reply could be: whatever you may experience, you do not know thoroughly, thus you do not know any thing completely, which may be interpreted as the meaning of 'i know nothing', ie. 'i know no-thing completely' - ie. the philosopher was right
and finally, does anyone actually know what the philosopher meant when he said that?
Former president Carlos Menem once claimed to have that particular philosopher's entire works in his library, so he seems like the right person to ask. He also said he wouldn't steal from the rich to give to the poor like Robinson Crusoe, but anyone can mix names up every now and then...

hi all, what are requirements for "Member title" ?
I just spent 2 hours creating a professional skype avatar. Specifying my skype id, name, department and company. This way, if I give someone my skype id, and they will do a search on my ID on skype network, they will be able to tell which is mine by viewing my picture.
One more reason I hate microsoft: they make EVERYTHING very difficult.

Holy fucking jesus, what a nightmare man.
Besides all that, I hope you only know about this character cos you googled or informed yourself.. Dont wanna find out that you live down the street..
I have learned the following from my microsoft collection:
- standard or vl iso does not matter. the licence key will activate regardless if key is vl or retail
- all images are the same with a few minor changes
- MSDN is better than VLSC and have a better naming scheme too
- images that have in name XNN-NNNNN are the images physically burned to DVDs
- always get microsoft products in english. you'll have a lot less headaches
- creating an image from original disk is not the same as downloading the original
