What qualifies as "hard time at work"? Does "people haven't pay me 10k €"?
hehe, essentially, whatever makes you feel 'you're having hard time at work' - everyone has a different idea of what is 'difficult' to them
imho a hard time is: more stress than normal, deadlines too tight, underpayed compared to others, unappreciated despite delivering excellent work, ...
It's not so much the 10k, but if you make (let's say) 3k and your colleague makes 10k for doing exactly the same thing, then yeah, i'd call not having 10k a hard time as well since you're doing exactly the same and therefore should be rewarded in the same way.

how can you be rewarded the same if every employer has a different idea of what you should be getting?
how can you do the same if you're not a clone of that other person, not in the same place, time, circumstances, situation,...?
how can you get the same since you're not arriving at your current position through the same karmic dependencies as that other person?
however, your idea of equality is correct, but in a different sense, it is not necessarily an equality of monetary compensation or other things in life, it is an equality of opportunity to accomplish your true goals in life, an equality of being able or prepared to reach them and an equality of a victorious finish as everyone else (the reward) - but each in a different/unique way of getting there - there is also equality of what we essentially are (consciousness or conscious entities) and what we essentially do (experience existence), and again each with different/unique personal characteristics and experiences - there is also an equality of relevance of our experiences, all custom-tailored to our needs
on the topic of hardships, the phrase 'to each his own' can be used, meaning: each of us gets the amount of hardship we can bear and the amount we need in order to progress further, aligned with our current abilities and situation - no more and no less than that is needed - but whether we can understand or accept this is a different question
to summarize: your life has been custom-tailored to you, to who you are - in this sense you are equal to all other existing entities
you're agreeing and denying at the same time. That, of course, is a very easy way to sound like it is right when hidden in a big chunk of text :)
fact is there will be differences in reward, but it's unethical to have big differences for the exact same job with the same result. And that's a fact.
things can be correct and incorrect at the same time
things can have different meaning in a different context
big differences are not unethical per se, maybe you meant to say exploitation
the employer can pay or try to pay whatever he wants - you can agree with those conditions or not
fact? is you have a higher income than the majority of the people of your age, yet you're still not satisfied and compare yourself to the top 10 or something - why not compare to the bottom 10 and conclude how incredibly well off you are?
