Yes, happiness back then was returning home from school to play.

There was another game where you drove a car on a nighttime city scape and could jump up or down to different rails to collect items, and if you crashed against the other cars, you lost. Do you happen to know the name?

Off the top of my head, I would suggest checking Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections\Local Area Connection. Right click and select Status. What speed is listed?

this problems arose few days back.. i've tried everything.ettings are obatin automatically. setting are all public,password is off,network discovery On, ipv4 s

I don't like it, I'm an old fashioned guy. I actually prefer downloading the thing istead of streaming it.

With today's internet connections, streaming is a good option. It prevents hoarding habbits (i have a serious one :( ) and most of the time you won't be rewatching the movies over and over anyway~ ! Icefilms etc are a similar thing.

but i also agree with u as i'm too myself a little old fashioned who likes to download n then watch a movie.. beside my internet speed sucks so no way to stream..

same here, streaming might be good for quick-checking movies/series/... before deciding to download (especially if its large HD stuff), just like youtube (streaming) already is for music albums, bands, games,... - but for that purpose it has to be relatively fast, responsive and should support skipping/fast-forwarding,...

besides, you can't depend on torrent seeders (or streaming site clouds) to keep everything freely available, usable and in good quality when(ever) you want it, especially during times of questionable filesharing future/stability

so, stream away, though keep the 'creme de la creme' nicely sorted on your computer or home server hard drive(s), backuped as well

I suggest you immediately delete the download once you're finished with it. That's what I do and my HDDs are always clean as a whistle.

Early last month I received a very bad announcement. Due to a budget cut, many of the people working the same job as me on the different technical schools in the city would have to give up half their working hours, with the corresponding salary loss and increase of actual work done, as they'd have to do more in less time just to keep up.

Since then, we've been meeting regularly to talk and fight back against this. Off the record, we found out that the budget cut was a complete fabrication - no such thing happened, and there is enough money to pay us all like last year. That highly motivated us to continue the meetings, and today was a decisive day: two of us plus a representative from the Union of Education Workers met with one of the authorities to argue against all of this and get an answer.

Said answer was that they're falling back on this and will revert to how things were last year, which is what we wanted.

So, in the end the good news is just that they didn't fuck us over, but I've been very tense about this, so I'm very happy it got solved.
