I did not find a thread for new users, so I'm posting my Hello here. I'm herefor everything about torrents.

    Hello and welcome!

Learning that "fluke" and "flunk" are not the same word, and actually have opposite meanings despite being spelled similarly, took me far longer than I'm willing to admit.

Hi, I'm new too. I may ask too many question on the tracker invite forum but that's only because I'm currently on few entry level trackers. Once I've leveled up, I'll start sharing information about their invite threads.

Even after you level up, your so-called entry level trackers will carry you through the endgame. I defeated the final boss with FL.io and Nyaa

The Empire has open sign-ups but when I submit its says vpn/tor/proxy not allowed. But I wasn't using any of that nor I was behind cgnat. I was on real/static ipv4 so everything was fine. And it's just not me, others on reddit and opentrackers.org had the same problem. All these click trackers have this problem and their mods seems cranky too, banning people for no reason at all

While their staff's reputation is indeed in the toilet, I can't suspect foul play on their side here for the simple reason I don't see what's to be gained from faking open registrations. They could be capturing details from each form submission, but to compare them against what, and why? Doesn't make sense to me.

Let's not forget there are dozens of IP blacklists out there, each with their own criteria for inclusion, but most sharing the fact it is easier to become (and remain) listed than it is to get removed.

During the four years I've been living in this apartment, my Verbindungsgeschwindigkeit has been gradually upgraded from 10/1 to 100/25... and you're telling me that doesn't happen in Merkeltopia?

What if you have the slowest plan and they stop offering it?

Over here, they don't just stop offering it. They stop offering it to new people, but everyone just stays on that old plan. They do make it a lot more interesting to move to a new plan though, so most users will end up migrating.

We do get upgrades to our plans now and then, too
