Anybody wants to take a crack at this? Multiboot.ru - Some features of MS-DOS 8.0
Gathering the files and checking them take a whole day.

Maybe there is somewhere a pre-built ms-dos 8.0.

You can't really do general-purpose computing with DOS anymore, but it remains useful for real mode apps that need direct hardware access (I use it every other day for HDAT2), and a good DOS emulator automatically enables any exotic platform to run many programs and games not originally written for it. I am pleased there's still people interested in getting it to run.

I have a MS-DOS 8.0 boot floppy, made circa 2004 so that Doom would run as fast as possible in my old computer.

I discovered the weirdest thing. I applied for a job at a top-level it company last month. I got selected, went to the interview, sadly did not get the job. But now when I try to login in their taleo job page, it says username/password incorrect. Recovering password does not work because says email does not exist in their database.
I've had that account for 3 years straight. And now all of a sudden it gets removed? Why... ?

I was able to register the same account, same name, same email.

And I did not flunked that bad. Certanly no reason to disable an account.

Now, anon, i need your help with something. That tracker connected map I made, how to do it, in a simple text editor or another application?
It looks good but it is very very hard to edit it, add new content or delete current ones.
I'm talking about diagrams, UML.

some possibilities:

- he went too hardcore-razor on 'em
- they found out he does cheating for fun (could happen to them too)
- its a test: top IT company wants a display of top employee skillz at recovering his account
- their top IT expert got so scared of his computer mastery so he immediately trashed the whole database (to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands)

Then you were probably overqualified, which is Newspeak for making them afraid you'd make your boss look dumb

You should use CMapTools or similar. They're meant for this sort of task and will make modifications much faster.

Is there any way to use your proxy trick (0.0.0.0) on a whole windows os? Meaning, block all internet access.

Tried the following which blocks all internet access, but keeps lan enabled:
route delete 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0
On Windows 7, 8, the internet is restored automatically after first restart

And to restore before restart:
route add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 local_ip_address

This is equivalent to setting a fixed IP with no default gateway, except it's temporary.

Both methods present inconsistent behavior when the network adapter in question is disabled.
