Back after many years and I'm kinda lost!

    Hi,

I used to be active here years ago (I don't remember my account ). Back then, I used Vuze Extreme Mod, and now I see several other releases such as uTorrent Serenity, mRatio, and RatioMaster.

I'm currently using uTorrent 3.3 (going to downgrade to 2.2.1) and plan to use something on a smaller tracker.

What are the pros and cons of uTorrent Serenity, mRatio, and RatioMaster?

Edit: Ok, so it seems like uT Serenity is more feature-rich while mR and RM are just focused on the upload/download speed?

    Welcome back!

Different tools for different needs. I see VEM is still actively developed so you can't go wrong with that... Bonus to your familiarity with it.

mRatio and RatioMaster are both similar tools, both stand alone, independent of torrent client, with mRatio having advantage of being open sourced and actively developed. Also check tutorials section regarding them, you may find helpful tips.

also you may find this writeup helpful:

    • mRatio has a GUI that support multi torrent cheating at the same window (RatioMaster has to use multi windows to make this)
    • mRatio has an automatic waffles method process
    • mRatio is always up to date when it related to the program itself not the client files (RatioMaster is up to date according the client files)
    • mRatio is a full feature program (RatioMaster is just a simple program that does its job in very effective simple way)

finnaly, you will have the same result at the end if you used both of them but it related to your comfortable of using the GUI.

    Hi, welcome :)

IMHO Vuse is good but SB-I uTorrent is an ace.
Combine it with mRatio and you're good to go.
