What's the rush? The lower your speeds the less suspicious you look. Besides what good will you get from bumping your ratio up a few hours faster?

I recently made a guide of how to run mR on a mac through wine with the program crossover. It should be in the tutorial section. You can try installing the linux version and follow the guide installing the same software I did to see if you get better results. I will be however installing linux on a virtual machine probably this weekend to see if I can get mR to run smoothly. If I have any luck, I'll make a guide on it similar to my mac one.

Another option is try running mR through mono (a .net framework alternative for mac and linux). On the mac side mono is really buggy and laggy to the point that it's not even usable but it may run better on linux.

Its crap on linux aswell.
Basically, mono developement has been killed off after community outcry, so if you REALLY REALLY need to run .NET apps on linux (and they should always be absolute last resort) THE best way is to run it in VirtualBox instance. Or, as per your guide, if you say that it works fine, I don't know, will trust you on word . But thats hack-ish way, it may work today, and not tommorow, it may work with one set of versions and not with another, etc.

Private trackers nowadays prevent users from using scrape and force them to disabled it from bittorrent client so its not recommend to use it anyway which client and version did you used ?

1. Because it's totally different situation, scrape & tracker update is not the same. Each one of them passes different parameters to the tracker.
so, if tracker bans scrape approach it won't affect the tracker update process at all.

2. mR doesn't has such a command, maybe you can pass that suggestion to the coder as a feature request.
