I use mRatio on an XP VirtualBox running under Ubuntu 14.04 : can it be the answer ?
I'll try it on a 'real' Windows 7 asap

I hope you don't fake vuze as it sends the OS you're using by default which can make your case is detectable.
I tested 5.4.1 on windows xp and no problem at all. I think it's not the virtualbox.

From utorrent ---> Options ---> BitTorrent
From mRatio ---> Options ---> Connection ---> BitTorrent
