How to downloading over and over again in utorrent? (loop)

    Hey,
How to downloading torrent over and over again? For example i downloading sth in µTorrent and I want that when it's almost downloaded (or even if it's complete) automaticly start it again. Main reason is that I want to downloaded more than it real occupied.
I think that is not easy or even there isn't such possible. Anyone have any ideas?

What an absolute waste of resources. Use a ratio tool.

I'm more concerned about his HDD. He'll wear it out very quickly by doing so.

    Not hard but useless...

    Pitty.

As to your question, yes it can be done. Through batches and some configurations, you can download as many files as you want.
    • utorrent will download the file and close the torrent afterwards
    • batch will replace resume.dat and manually remove the downloaded folder contents
    • batch will then start utorrent again and autoload the torrents in the autoload folder and repeat the process till the end of time...

If the above works for you I can make something here.

Anyone else thinks intentionally downloading something over and over again is bad

I won't stop you if you want to do it, but consider other less wasteful ways.

Another Idea, a bit more Hardware-Friendly:
Download only a Part of the torrent, maybe 1-2GB and put it on a Ramdisk.

Is it possible to manipulate the hash-values in the .torrent file so that legit data is detected as corrupt? So the Same Chunk would be transmitted over and over again...

Yes in theory, but that will change the SHA1 hash of the info dictionary, rendering the torrent useless.

I don't care about HDD because 2 of them i have since 2006 (transfered many TBs), so I have to change them but its doesn't matter.
my friend have done 7TB buffer on what.cd, in freeleech torrents, in that way. Downloading over and over again one torrent.

Macro Recorder, Macro Program, Keyboard Macros & Mouse Macros

just record the steps needed to restart a torrent and let it run in a loop.

I understand. I heard about this in games. I will try this in that week.
But I was thinking about something else because once I had something like torrent was downloading to 50% and start again. I remember that then I had downloaded more than 12GB in position which had 1.4GB, so I know it's possible... It was very different situation(something like bug in µTorrent) and I didn't search why it has done
My friend was downloading over and over again manually and it taken him more than month. When it will work on what.cd then I will write it here... Maybe there is easier way to cheat on what.cd but I don't know it.

Ah, macros and gaming. Need to click 500 times or read 10000 scrolls of item creation? They're your friend.

Anyway, if this is about What.cd, has anyone tried the method of faking upload via RM with one account and doing the same with download on another? With more people doing this you would look less suspicious (although it requires good synchronization). And once again, it's less wasteful than redownloading.
