Any lightweight ad-blocker available? I only need it to use fanboy's blocklists.
I'm using Adblock but with three lists it'll slow down browsing considerably.

Unless you have special needs, it's better to find just one good list and stick to that. Anyway, Adblock Plus is apparently faster, and Iron has an ad blocker directly built-in.

All three lists are from fanboy (normal, annoyances and tracers). All of these without a RO list, which I should add as well...

I'm experiencing some kind of weird bug in chrome. Usually whatever I open is saved in Tab Outliner, now however, whenever I close the browser, the opened tabs are no longer saved. They are only saved IF I rename the group from Window to another name.

Any ideas?

Since it's somewhat related: recently it so happens that whenever I use the seekbar on YouTube, the video stops and has to rebuffer again, even if I seek backwards.

Apparently can be fixed by disabling DASH playback with this.

ChromePass will let you open and export the database as something readable.

You could just backup Chrome's profile too, but the encryption it applies to passwords is partly tied to your Windows account, so it may not work if you reinstall.

ChromePass is a small password recovery tool that allows you to view the user names and passwords stored by Google Chrome Web browser. For each password entry, the following information is displayed: Origin URL, Action URL, User Name Field, Password Field, User Name, Password, and Created Time.
You can select one or more items and then save them into text/html/xml file or copy them to the clipboard.

did you tried it to check that it is able to backup and restore the passwords on different windows ?

Backup yes, restore no. I thought you'd merely want to have a readable copy of your database in case something happens to it.

Is threre a good chrome extension capable of blocking HTML5 and flash videos from beeing played automatically? If not, at least two good separate extensions.
Is there any way to force youtube videos to always play with the lowest quality, even if higher quality exists? I would prefer if there were some other method except using a google account.

I think "YouTube Center" can do this both for the YT site and embedded videos.

No idea about HTML5 video. That's an annoyance in Opera too, I worked around it by setting Flash to "activate on demand".

U need to update IDM to the latest version n make sure the IDM extension is added to chrome
