A persistent Flash Player bug has been plaguing Firefox users for almost two weeks now, even since Flash Player 11.3 was released. Flash 11.3 introduced a sandbox feature to Firefox, a welcomed addition.

Unfortunately, that came with a lot of compatibility issues with other plugins and add-ons, the ones that interacted with Flash in some way, especially in ways not encouraged by Adobe, i.e. ripping the video stream.

Both Mozilla and Adobe have been working on it, there are workarounds, but no definitive fix. Just to remind everyone that it's still at it, Adobe provided an update letting users know that it's working on the problem, but that there is no fix yet.

"Many of you have experienced problem using Firefox and Adobe Flash Player 11.3. We are aware of the problem and working closely with Mozilla to narrow down the issue and get it resolved as soon as possible," Adobe acknowledged.
