I agree with a couple of you guys. I invited a guy from here (name withheld atm) on to What.CD and I was very explicit that I do not expect him to cheat at all on his newly created account (via invite from me).

I certainly hope he hasn't traded it either. Each time I log in I check to see where he's at with respect to ratio movement/content and downloaded/uploaded amount. I think it is highly disrespectful of an invitee cheating behind the inviter and then if/when that possibility arises, that inviter has his invites disabled because of a lack of foresight by that other person. My 3 cents.

I did this once and I paid the price. Very embarrassing and an eye opener for myself too.

Reminds me of my first waffles account. I was invited by a member here and after abut a week or so I thought of the waffles method and started testing it on that account. All went well from my first try until I went to lunch and forgot to stop mratio.

rules are made to be broken

I think this applies if the rules are broken and cause problems which in this case don't. Those rules are what makes people seed a lot and let you download all that stuff from the site. Think of it this way: if everybody would cheat would you download something with more than 10 KB per second? You have great power knowing how to cheat and it is your responsibility to use it in a way that doesn't affect people too much than it usually does.

they dont, its just a random utorrent screenshot. there is only music, applications and audiobooks on what.cd. and rippy :)

imo that community sucks. yes they have lot's of music, good rips, but you can't really download all you want. you get the same music in good quality from many places, so there is nothing exclusive on what.cd
and their forum is not interesting at all.

Well at least their invitation section is interesting , and getting good uploads in What.cd would definitely mean you could survive in most of the harsher tracker, which could also mean better chance to receive higher level invitations. Just my 2cents.
