After 12 years since the first movie I'm really glad I got the chance to watch another Pixar Monsters animation. The animation was spot on, with a lot of attention to fine details. Creative-wise I enjoyed the customization on every-day objects to better fit the Monsters universe. Throughout the animation you feel that everything fits in there and is not forced. Despite some not-so-excellent reviews all the people in the audience laughed really hard and thought that the movie did justice to the original one.
    Spoiler trailer?:
I was sad to see that the trailer scene where Mike was posing as a disco ball wasn't part of the movie.
